Bay City Bicycle Club has several rides lined up this month leaving from Clay or Starr. No fees, no membership required.
Bike Ride 101 – Sunday, June 16th – Starting from Clay
This is a friendly introductory ride, perfect for new riders! Low speeds, low mileage, and all about getting people excited about cycling! Thinking of bringing your kids?
Here’s a good test to see if they’re ready:
✅ Can they ride in a relatively straight line?
✅ Can they ride for an hour?
✅ Can they go 10mph for that hour?
If so, they’re good to go! The June 16th ride would be a great time to try it out.

Ok some new news for some exciting stuff to put on your calendar. We are changing the 6/25 ride to 6/26. Everything else will remain the same.
Ok to all of BCBC families get this date on your calendar. Friday July 11th is going to be our first ever family ride. This will be a ride where child karts and little ones on bicycles is going to be encouraged. In order to make sure we make to Freight House in time for ice cream we will start at Clay HS in the Stadium Rd lot at 6:30 we will ride a loop through through the Oregon Rec and a loop around the Clay Memorial Stadium for a grand total of about 3 miles. Then we will head to Freight House for ice cream. Get this on your calendar and we will get up on the events page by tomorrow.
