A few pavers remain for purchase
Last year our brick drive was a tremendous success. After getting the bricks placed in the ground, we have 11 4x8 pavers available still for purchase. The cost will be the same as last year $250.00. The parameters will be 14 characters per line and up to 3 lines of text. Please note that special characters and spaces count as a character. Please reach out to me with all requests.

12th Annual Clay Baseball Golf Outing Information
The 12th Annual Clay Baseball Golf Outing will be held on August 2nd, 2025 with registration starting at 12:30 pm, immediately followed by a shotgun start at 1:30 pm. The event will be held at Eagles Landing (5330 Bayshore Rd. Oregon, Ohio), the cost is $80.00 per person/$320.00 per team. Hole sponsorships are also available starting at $100.00. Varsity Baseball bows out In Regional Final to Amherst Steele
The varsity baseball team put forth great effort but fell short against the number #1 ranked team in the state 7-4. On the mound the Darin Fussell went 2 2/3, giving up 6 hits, 3 earned runs, and striking out 1. Bryce Besgrove came in to throw the final 4 1/3, giving up 4 hits, only 1 earned run, and striking out 5. Offensively the Eagles had trouble getting it going picking up only 3 hits on the day, but in the 4th were able to apply some pressure and push across 3 runs to give the Eagles a brief 4-3 lead. Leading the offense was Darin Fussell picking up 2 hits and scoring a run. The other hit was by Alex Goetz 1-3 (2 RS, 2 RBI, 3 SB). The loss puts the varsities final season record at 19-10 (11-5 NLL).

Clay Baseball Walks Off Hudson in Regional Semi-Final to Advance
The varsity baseball team came ready to play to the final out, and that is what it would take to get the win in last night’s regional semi-final. Facing the #3 ranked team in Division 2, the Eagles competed for 7 innings in all 3 facets of the game. On the mound the Eagles got an outing from Landon Eversman fitting of the recently named Co-player of the Year in the Cardinal Conference. Landon threw a complete game 3 hitter, walking 1, striking out 5, and allowing only 1 earned run in picking up his 8th win of the season. Offensively the Eagles faced a very talented pitcher who headed into the game was undefeated in 9 starts. The game was tight throughout with both teams not having many chances to push runs across. The Eagles found themselves down to their final 3 outs. After a ground out to lead off the bottom of the 7th Darin Fussell roped a double in the left-center gap to break up the no hit bid by Hudson and put the tying run at second. After a ground out and the Eagles down to their final out Brayden Toneff came to the plate. Brayden worked the count to 2-2 before he laced a triple just over the head of the right fielder plating Fussell and tying the game at 1. After a Hudson pitching change leadoff hitter Alex Goetz stepped to the plate. Goetz ahead in the count 2-1 laced a single to center to score pinch runner Jake Titgemeyer and walk off the Explorers. The win puts the varsities record at 19-9 (11-4 NLL). The victory also advances the Eagles in state tournament play (Regional Final) where they will face Amherst Steele. This game will be played on 6/5/25 at Dill Field on the Campus of Oberlin College starting at 5:00 pm.
