NW District Boys Results
Our boys track and field team will be sending ten different athletes in seven events to Lexington tomorrow. Placing fourth in the discus was Cash Mahr. Placing fourth in the high jump was Jarvis Gibbs and Derek Harmer was a district runner up, in the high jump. Brody Csizmar placed third in the 400-meter run. Our 4 by 200-meter relay team of JJ Medina, Jordan Williams, Brody Csizmar and Barack James placed third, and the 4 by 400-meter relay team of Jordan Williams, Brody Csizmar, Jacob Stine and Kason Marshall placed fourth. The pole vault is sending two with Jordan Williams being a district runner up and Logan Davis being a district champion. Barack James became a district champion in the 110-meter hurdles by setting a personal best of 13.66 seconds and setting an all-time state record. Best of luck this week gentlemen.

Girls NW District Results
Our girls track and field team had an explosive night Friday sending athletes in seven events to the regionals, in Lexington tomorrow. Makena Brinkman finished third in the pole vault and Carly Miller was a district runner up in the pole vault. Arianna Bench was a district runner up in both shot put and discus. Our 4 by 200-meter relay team placed fourth. That same group of ladies consisting of Grace Mittendorf, Audrey Miller, Olivia Muir and Jaelyn Rowe claimed to be district champions in the 4 by 400-meter relay setting a personal best of 4 minutes, two seconds. Senior Emily Schultz is moving on in two events. She placed second in the 300-meter hurdles and was a district champion in the 100-meter hurdles. Good luck this week ladies.

Day One District Results
Four Eagle Track and Field athletes advance to the regionals after yesterday's day one district meet performance. The girls will send Arianna Bench to Lexington after her second place finish in the shot put. The boys will be sending three so far. Cash Mahr placed fourth in the Discus and Jordan Williams finished second in the pole vault. However, Logan Davis capped off the night with a lifetime personal best of 13 feet, 6 inches in the pole vault to walk away as a district champion. Our Eagles will continue to make a regional run as they conclude the district finals tomorrow night at Clay Memorial Stadium.

NLL Conference Final Performances
Your Eagle Track and Field team had a very good performance at the conference finals this past Friday night. The girls finished with three individual all-conference performances. Arianna Bench finished second in the shot put. Emily Schultz finished third in the 300-meter hurdles and was a league champion in the 100-meter hurdles. It was the 4 by 400-meter relay team of Audrey Miller, Olivia Muir, Grace Mittendorf and Jaelyn Rowe that stole the show by winning the final event of the night to become first team all conference. The boys finished third overall by amassing 85 team points. Named Honorable mention by taking third place was Jordan Williams in the pole vault and Christian Stephens in the long jump. Earning second team honors was Logan Davis in the pole vault, Barack James in the 110-meter hurdles and the 4 by 200-meter relay team of JJ Medina, Jordan Williams, Brody Csizmar and Barack James. They finished with two league champions sophomore Barack James in the 300-meter hurdles and senior high jumper Derek Harmer jumping 6 foot 6 inches. The Eagles compete in the district meet this Wednesday and Friday at Clay Memorial Stadium.

Day 1 Conference Meet Results
Our boys track and field squad is leading the Northern Lakes League after day one of conference competition. Leading the way were Logan Davis who placed second in the pole vault, Jordan Williams who placed third in the pole vault and Christian Stephens who placed third in the long jump. They were backed with points from Cash Mahr and Anastacio Loredo who placed fourth and eighth respectively, in the discus. The 4 by 800-meter relay team of Tanner Reindel, Cohen Hawes, Braylon McCrory and Jacob Stine also contributed in the scoring, by placing eighth. The girls were lead by Arianna Bench who threw a personal best of 34 feet 10 inches, in the shot put to place second. The team travels back to Napoleon Friday evening, in the finals to wrap up their conference competition.

Eagle Invitational Results
Our Boys and Girls Track and Field Team had a big night Friday evening hosting their own invitational. Both teams finished second out of a field of eight. Taking home third place medals for the boys were; Kason Marshall in the 100-meter run, Brody Csizmar in the 400-meter run, Barack James in the 300-meter hurdles, Jarvis Gibbs in the high jump and Jordan Williams in the pole vault. The 4 by 400-meter relay team of Jacob Stine, Brody Csizmar, Jarvis Gibbs and Kason Marshall place second. Gold medals went to Derek Harmer in the high jump, Barack James in the 110-meter hurdles, Tanner Reindel in the 1600 meter-run and the 4 by 200-meter relay team of JJ Medina, Jordan Williams, Brody Csizmar and Barack James. The girls had third place finishes from; Audrey Miller in the long jump, Arianna Bench in the shot put and their 4 by 800-meter relay team of Brooklyn Hughes, Kaylee King, Makena Brinkman and Alianna Rowe. Their second-place finishes came from; Olivia Muir in the 200-meter run, Audrey Miller in the 400-meter run, Arianna Bench in the discus, Emily Schultz in the long jump and 300-meter hurdles and the 4 by 200-meter relay team of Grace Mittendorf, Emily Schultz, Olivia Muir and Audrey Miller. The Girls took home two gold medals. The first came with Emily Schultz winning the 100-meter hurdles and in the final event of the evening from the 4 by 400-meter relay team of Olivia Muir, Grace Mittendorf, Audrey Miller and Kaylee King. Great job on the evening to all the members of our Eagle track and field team.

Saline Golden Triangle Results
Our Clay Eagles Track and Field team traveled to Saline, Michigan this past Friday. The boys took home three fifth place medals. Tanner Reindel in the 1600-meter run, Brody Csizmar in the 400-meter run and Barack James in the 300-meter hurdles. Our girls took home a sixth place medal in the 200-meter run by Olivia Muir and a fifth place medal in the 4 by 400-meter relay of Olivia Muir, Grace Mittendorf, Audrey Miller and Kaylee King. Arianna Bench placed fourth in the discus and fifth in the shot put. The boys 4 by 200-meter relay team of JJ Medina, Jordan Williams, Brody Csizmar and Barack James brought home a gold Medal. However, it was the Eagle Hurdlers that stole the show. Barack James hit a lifetime personal best of 13.79 into the wind to win the 110-meter hurdles and Emily Schultz placed first in the 100-meter hurdles and second in the 300-meter hurdles. Please come out this Friday and support the Eagles in our home invitational.

Brighton Bulldog Invitational
This past Saturday your boys and girls track and field team brought home 19 medals from the Brighton Bulldog Invitational. The boy’s Logan Davis brought home a bronze medal in pole vault. The 4 by 200-meter relay team of JJ Medina, Jarvis Gibbs, Brody Csizmar and Barack James took second and the 4 by 400-meter relay team of Jordan Williams, Brody Csizmar, Jason Domagala and Kason Marshall also took second. Our three gold medal winners all hit lifetime personal bests to take first place. Sophomore Barack James posted the second fastest time in the state of Ohio, in the 110-meter hurdles running a 13.85. junior Justin Lajti threw 52 feet 9 inches, in the shot put and senior Derek Harmer went 6 foot 6 inches, in the high jump. The girls 4 by 200-meter relay team of Grace Mittendorf, Emily Schultz, Olivia Muir and Audrey Miller, and the 4 x 400-meter relay team of Audrey Miller, Grace Mittendorf, Olivia Muir and Kaylee King took home bronze medals. The freshman/sophomore 4 by 800-meter relay team of Grace Mittendorf, Makena Brinkman, Kaylee King and Brooklynn Hughes took first place. It was senior Emily Schultz that posted a lifetime personal best of 15.15 in the 100-meter hurdles taking home gold and leaving the rest of the field in her dust. Our team travels to Saline, Michigan this Friday.
