Hey Eagles! Last year's alumni event was so much fun, we've had requests to do it again. It's time for the second annual Clay varsity softball alumni gathering. Our event will be on Saturday, September 26th (Clay's Homecoming weekend). Softball activities will be from 1-3:00 and food after at a local restaurant. Please click the Google Forms link to RSVP. Emily and Lillian Cordell were both selected to represent the NW District at the Underclass All-Star Softball Tournament hosted by the Ohio High School Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association. The round-robin tournament was held at Pickerington Central HS on June 23-24. Emily pitched and Lily played the outfield for the NW team. Both had strong plate appearances throughout the tournament highlighted by a home run from each of the twins. Way to represent Clay proudly!

Congratulations to Maddie Franke who received a Billhardt Scholarship and a Second Team All-Ohio plaque at the All-Ohio Softball Banquet tonight! This honor is a testament to the countless hours she has invested in becoming an elite student-athlete. Maddie's achievements are well deserved, and we can't wait to see what the future holds for her both on and off the softball field.

Congratulations to senior Madison Franke on representing Clay HS in the NW District All-Star Game held at the Rossford Athletic Complex!
This game showcases the area's best softball players, with participation reserved for athletes who earned First Team All-District honors. Maddie's selection was a well-deserved recognition of her outstanding senior campaign. She added one final highlight to an incredible Clay career by launching a home run in her last game wearing a Clay uniform.

Clay Eagles senior Madison Franke put on a show at the Mud Hens Home Run Showdown, delivering an unforgettable performance in front of a tremendous crowd of softball fans.
With her father, Aaron Franke, pitching and teammate Vanessa Wilk behind the plate, Maddie blasted her way to the highest score of the opening round with 64 points, earning a spot in the championship round. She continued her impressive performance and finished 3rd overall against some of the area's top power hitters.
A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support Maddie and Clay Eagles Softball. Your support means the world to our players and program!

What an incredible week for Clay Eagles Softball! We were thrilled to welcome a record-breaking 57 campers to this year's youth softball camp. The energy, enthusiasm, and love for the game displayed by these young athletes made the camp a tremendous success. We are excited to see the future of Clay Softball continue to grow!
A special thank you goes out to our high school players and coaching staff. Your dedication, leadership, and willingness to give back to the next generation of Eagles helped create a fun, positive, and memorable experience for every camper. You represented our program with pride and served as outstanding role models both on and off the field. Thank you to all the campers and families who participated. We can't wait to see everyone back on the field again soon!

Senior, Madison Franke, has been selected to participate in the 2026 Toledo Mud Hens high school Home Run Showdown on Wednesday, June 10th. Maddie has 90 seconds to hit as many home runs as possible. She will compete against 6 other local seniors. The winner will receive a $1,000 scholarship and the school that buys the most tickets to the event will win $500 for the athletic department.
