The Clay Baseball program has once again upgraded its facilities, making improvements to the home dugout and bullpens. This achievement was only possible through the support of several groups and individuals. The program extends its gratitude to Brad Morrison and Maumee Bay Turf for their outstanding work, the Oregon Schools Foundation and Amy Hansen for awarding a grant to this project, and the Clay High School Athletic Boosters—especially Joe Kiss—for their generous donation. Over the years, the boosters have consistently helped reduce costs for the baseball program. Lastly, special thanks go to the Graham Family and TESCO for continually demonstrating how fortunate the district and community are to have their support.
Clay Baseball Alum Jason Klatt (06) was named International League Visiting Clubhouse Manager of the Year, based on surveys from league managers, players, and executives. Jason remains a strong supporter of our baseball program, and we are proud to call him one of our own. Below is a link to the story.

2020 Clay Baseball Alum Drew Collins has found success in the MLB Draft League with the West Virginia Black Bears after a strong career at Jacksonville State in Alabama. Drew is batting .320 as the centerfielder for the Black Bears, contributing to their second-half championship. The Clay Baseball program is so proud of Drew as he continues to chase his dreams. Clay baseball will be having open fields starting in September and ending in October weather permitting. These will begin on 9/2/25 from 5:00-6:30 at Ousky. Then every Tuesday and Thursday (5-6:30) until 10/30. This is not mandatory. Any athlete particpating in a fall sport that wants to attend needs to get permission from their in season coach. We have 8 bricks left, information listed below!!!
Last year our brick drive was a tremendous success. After getting the bricks placed in the ground, we have 11 4x8 pavers available still for purchase. The cost will be the same as last year $250.00. The parameters will be 14 characters per line and up to 3 lines of text. Please note that special characters and spaces count as a character. Please reach out to me with all requests.
