After competing in the sectional tournament with 30 teams and 150 golfers, the team advanced to districts and played today, and finished in 4th place. There were 10 teams and ten individuals competing for a total of 60 golfers in the district tournament held at Stone Ridge Golf Club in Bowling Green, Ohio. Senior Tori Cousino (85) earned 2nd team All- District honors. Freshman Kari Korsog (92) finished in 18th place, Sophomore Claire Martin (99) finished in 31st place, Sophomore Carlie McGilvray (110) finished in 44th place and Sophomore Cara Ellis (112) finished in 48th place. Congratulations ladies on a great season and the future is looking bright for the golf team!

Today at Eagle's Landing, the team earned the right to compete in the state district tournament next week at Stone Ridge Golf Club in Bowling Green, Ohio. The team finished in fifth place out of fifteen. There were 72 golfers and Tori Cousino shot 84 and finished 9th, Carlie McGilvray and Kari Korsog shot 97 and finished in a tie for 26th, Cara Ellis shot a 99 (PR!) to finish in a tie for 32nd and Claire Martin shot a 103 to finish in 103rd. The crazy thing about golf is that the team only finished two strokes away from finishing in fourth place. Yet, they continued to try their best and and beat Notre Dame by four strokes and Perrysburg, by six strokes to advance to the next round!

Today at Eagle's Landing on the back nine, Clay defeated Rossford 191 - 233. Competing for the Eagles were Tori Cousino 43, Claire Martin 54, Kari Korsog 45, Cara Ellis 53 and Carlie McGilvray 50. The team will be in action on 9/22/2025 at the state sectional tournament.

Today at Riverby Hills Golf Club the team finished second overall in the Cardinal Division. The tournament was a shotgun start and we started on the back nine holes. Competing for the Eagles were Tori Cousino 94, Kari Korsog 101, Claire Martin 112, Cara Ellis 108 and Carlie McGilvray 102. Tori won Co-Player of the Year honors and 1st team Cardinal Division. Kari Korsog also won 1st team Cardinal Division honors. Carlie McGilvray won 2nd team Cardinal Division honors. The team award and individual honors are a compilation of their scores over the entire NLL season. Great job team!!!! We will be in action on 9/17/25 at Eagle's Landing for Senior Night.

Congratulations Tori! Last year was her first season actually, "playing golf" at a competitive level and she earned 1st team NLL Cardinal Division honors. This season she capped it off with a Co-Player of the Year honors!

Today at Bedford Hills on the Buckeye course, Clay defeated Whitmer 176-186. Competing for the Eagles were Tori Cousino 41, Kari Korsog 45, Claire Martin 43, Cara Ellis 62, and Carlie McGilvray 47. The team will be in action on Monday 9/15 at Riverby Hills Golf Club, competing for the NLL Cardinal Division championship and all-league individual honors.

Today at Eagle's Landing on the back nine, the team defeated Springfield 175-218. Competing for the Eagles were Tori Cousino 42, Kari Korsog 44, Claire Martin 42, Cara Ellis 57 and Carlie McGilvray 47. The team will be in action tomorrow against Whitmer at Bedford Hills with a 3:00 tee time.
