The Oregon Youth Cheer📣and Football 🏈programs brought plenty of energy, excitement and school spirit to the field as our future Eagles joined the high school football team for opening night at Clay Memorial Stadium. From taking the field to cheering on the team, these young athletes got a special taste of what it means to be part of the Eagle family.

District staff launched the new school year on Wednesday with an incredible keynote speaker, Mister Brown from The Choose Well Program at the Clay High School auditorium.
After an energizing opening day presentation to all staff, Mister Brown visited each of our 7 buildings to share the inspiring message about making connections and building deep relationships. His message directly ties into our district focus "Together We Are One".

A powerful reminder that our relationships with each other, our students, and our parents are the heart of everything we do. 💚💛💚

This summer four Clay seniors completed the American Legion’s Buckeye Boys and Girls State programs!
The one week endeavor is a hands-on, simulated local and state government camp. Girls from across Ohio gathered at Bowling Green State University while boys attended Miami University. A social time and reports ceremony was held for our students at the Christ Dunberger American Legion Post on August 20th.
We would like to commend these students and thank the Christ Dunberger American Legion Post for supporting our students.

Our teachers kicked off their first day back this morning with an annual tradition, Clay Band marching in and filling the morning with music! 🎶🦅 The warm welcome set the tone for an exciting year ahead.
There’s something powerful about gathering together as a team. The energy, excitement and anticipation for our students were felt throughout the room!
A special thank-you to our guest speaker, Mister Brown for helping inspire and motivate our staff as we begin another school year!
From there, our team broke off into sessions at each building to prepare, collaborate and get ready to welcome our students back. 📚💚Here’s to a great year ahead!
