The Varsity Lady Eagles Soccer took on Springfield last night in league play. The girls started the match strong with Sophia Mahr scoring 15 minutes into the match with an assist by Gianna Cuttaia. They went into halftime up 1-0. The game was far from over with 40 minutes left, the Lady Eagles fought hard to maintain their lead and keep a clean sheet. Jaelyn Rowe put up a pair of goals to finish out the game with an assist by Delaney Ciborowski and Gracie Sekinger. Last night's 3-0 victory against the Blue Devils puts their overall record at 2-2 and their league record 2-0. Next chance to come watch these hard working ladies play is Wednesday, September 4th at 7pm as they look to take on the Southview Cougars at home. Go Eagles!

Wednesday night started league play for your Lady Eagles as they took on the Bowling Green Bobcats. The JV played first on the Sanderson field and played some great team soccer to win the match 5-0. The Varsity team followed that up in the Memorial Stadium with a hard fought win of 3-0. Our next matchup is Wednesday, August 28th at Springfield High School. Come out and cheer on these hard working ladies as they look to add another win to their league play!
