This morning at Eagle's Landing, Clay had an NLL Cardinal Division match versus Bowling Green. Clay won 189-267. Kari Korsog 43, Claire Martin 46, Carlie McGilvray 50, Cara Ellis 50, Taytum Walsh 66 and Bailey White 66. The team will be in action tomorrow, 8/18/26 at Eagle's Landing, against Perrysburg. The tee time is 3:30.

Today at Maumee Bay, the team competed against Archbold, Perrysburg and Notre Dame Academy. The match was held on the front nine, the course was extremely wet and the bunkers were swimming pools. Team scores were: Archbold 183, Perrysburg 188, Clay 200 and Notre Dame 229. Kari Korsog 43, Carlie McGilvray 50, Claire Martin 52, Cara Ellis 55, Taytum Walsh 65 and Bailey White 73.
On a rain soaked course, Clay defeated Whitmer 191-240 at Eagle's Landing. Kari Korsog led the way with a 41, Claire Martin 48, Cara Ellis 48, Carlie McGilvray 54, Bailey White 61 and Taytum Walsh 68. The team will compete tomorrow at Maumee Bay against Notre Dame and Perrysbug.
On Wednesday, August 5th, at Eagle's Landing the golfers defeated Rossford 186-227. Competing for Clay were Kari Korsog 43, Cara Ellis 47 (PR), Claire Martin 48, Carlie McGilvray 48 and Taytum Walsh 64. Next week, the team will be competing against Whitmer, Perrysburg and Notre Dame Academy.

After competing in the sectional tournament with 30 teams and 150 golfers, the team advanced to districts and played today, and finished in 4th place. There were 10 teams and ten individuals competing for a total of 60 golfers in the district tournament held at Stone Ridge Golf Club in Bowling Green, Ohio. Senior Tori Cousino (85) earned 2nd team All- District honors. Freshman Kari Korsog (92) finished in 18th place, Sophomore Claire Martin (99) finished in 31st place, Sophomore Carlie McGilvray (110) finished in 44th place and Sophomore Cara Ellis (112) finished in 48th place. Congratulations ladies on a great season and the future is looking bright for the golf team!
Today at Eagle's Landing, the team earned the right to compete in the state district tournament next week at Stone Ridge Golf Club in Bowling Green, Ohio. The team finished in fifth place out of fifteen. There were 72 golfers and Tori Cousino shot 84 and finished 9th, Carlie McGilvray and Kari Korsog shot 97 and finished in a tie for 26th, Cara Ellis shot a 99 (PR!) to finish in a tie for 32nd and Claire Martin shot a 103 to finish in 103rd. The crazy thing about golf is that the team only finished two strokes away from finishing in fourth place. Yet, they continued to try their best and and beat Notre Dame by four strokes and Perrysburg, by six strokes to advance to the next round!

Today at Eagle's Landing on the back nine, Clay defeated Rossford 191 - 233. Competing for the Eagles were Tori Cousino 43, Claire Martin 54, Kari Korsog 45, Cara Ellis 53 and Carlie McGilvray 50. The team will be in action on 9/22/2025 at the state sectional tournament.
