This past June, Christ Dunberger Post of the American Legion sponsored eight Clay High School Seniors who attended Buckeye Girls State and Buckeye Boys State at Bowling Green State University and Miami University.
A banquet and presentations were held on August 21. This “Week to Change a Life” experience is an immersive government simulation that helps students from across the state understand local and state governments. Boys State participant Caleb Finkbeiner said, “Boys State was an incredible experience that truly is 'a week to shape a lifetime.'”

The upgrades to the center will offer a wide variety of new opportunities for both students and instructors.

Yesterday, Clay High School Career & Tech hosted a successful Ribbon Cutting ✂️ and Open House to celebrate the exciting new additions to the Agricultural & Environmental Technologies Program.
Guests explored the newly renovated 🌿 greenhouse and 🐄 animal housing facility in the Marvin Hemminger Ag Building, both designed to provide students with enhanced, hands-on learning experiences.
These upgrades were made possible through the ODEW Facilities Expansion Grant, supporting the continued growth of agricultural education at Clay.
