It is now time to submit NOMINATIONS for the Clay High School Distinguished Hall of Fame.

The Clay High School Distinguished Hall of Fame recognizes any alumni of Clay High School who have made a meaningful contribution to society, and whose accomplishments, affiliations and careers have honored the tradition of excellence at Clay High School OR any friends of Clay High School who have served as positive role models to Clay High School students and have significantly promoted and supported the students.

The criteria for eligibility include:

• Those graduates who have surpassed their lifetime goals, utilizing the education received at Clay High School to make a substantial impact in their respective fields; and/or

• Individuals who have left a lasting imprint on Clay High School and its students, recognizing their exceptional influence within the school community; and/or

• Those who have served their community and/or country in an exemplary manner, contributing to the betterment of society on a broader scale.

• Nominees must have graduated at least 15 years prior to nomination.

• Only activities and experiences occurring after high school will be taken into consideration. (This is not a nomination to the Athletic Hall of Fame).

For each nomination, please describe how your nominee has demonstrated each attribute listed below, either through past achievements or current contributions.

Each response will need to be between 1500-2000 characters (letters, numbers, symbols, and spaces) per attribute.

ACHIEVEMENT/EXCELLENCE – Describe the nominee’s outstanding accomplishments in their field, community service, or contributions to Clay High School. Highlight how they have shown exceptional skill, quality, and dedication in their work or volunteer efforts.

LEADERSHIP/DEDICATION  - Explain how the nominee exemplifies leadership through guidance, inspiration, and support to others. Provide examples of their commitment and passion in their professional achievements or ongoing contributions to the school and/or community. 

IMPACT/LEGACY – Share how the nominee has made a meaningful, lasting impact on Clay High School, the Oregon community, or their industry. Explain how they have positively influenced others and have left a legacy of service, support, or professional excellence.

This new format ensures a clear and consistent presentation of each nominee, making it easier for the voters to evaluate and compare nominees during the voting process.

Once all nominations are received, the list of candidates will be compiled for review and voted on by the community and the Hall of Fame Selection Committee. Nominees will remain on the ballot for a three-year term. If a nominee is not inducted during that timeframe, they will be removed from consideration and a new nomination form with updated accomplishments and information will need to be submitted.
