Clay jumped out to a 1-0 in the 1st inning when Mason Mathena hit a sacrifice fly to right field, scoring Aiden Berryman. Perrysburg would carry a 4-2 lead through 6 complete innings. Liam Cody lead off the top of the 7th inning with a double, Codey Shimman followed up with a walk. Liam Cody would advance to 3rd and score on two wild pitches. Brandon McGee came in to pinch run for Shimman and would score on a base hit by Joey Moreno, tying the game at 4. Dane Fussell would single on a 0-2 count bringing Moreno home taking the lead 5-4. Perrysburg would scratch 2 runs across in the bottom of the 7th, claiming the victory 6-5.

Aiden Berryman (3-3) and Dane Fussell (3-4) paced the JV Green offensively.

Max Morrison got the start going 4.2 innings allowing 4 runs on 5 hits. Jayce Derr would come in relief going 1.1 innings allowing 2 runs on 3 hits.
